How it Works
This web application connects to the Open Exchange Rates API (openexchangerates.org) and caches the current peso value for one hour.
With this figure, one can easily determine the cost of a liter of gas in US dollars by dividing the cost of a liter by the pesos-per-dollar, however this is only half the battle,
since Americans don't know what a liter is or how it compares to a gallon. To complete the process, we will need to use science and math together. In science, one gallon is
equal to 3.78541 liters. Thus, according to math, the cost per gallon can be calculated by multiplying the cost per liter by the number of liters in one gallon (3.78541).
